Dear, Gamer Shibes....
« on: January 26, 2014, 02:52:15 PM »
(copy/paste of my Reddit thread that garnered zero followers)

For the longest time, I was a poor shibe with no legitimate tradeskill whatsoever. I couldn't draw, write code, sing, act, anything! I was so lost in the mental abyss of having being untalented, without any means to make doge, that I've even tried to scam a guy...but that's a story for another day.
What I'm proposing here is that we, the gamers of the community, form a steam group where the members compete against each other for quick doge. For example, say I feel like playing competitive high-stakes War of the Roses. I make a thread on the group, betting 500 doges that I would win against anyone who'd challenge me. I lose the duel, admit my unsavory defeat on the group, and then proceed to pay the winner 500 doges.

It's quick, it's easy, and totally accessible to the otherwise talentless shibe.

I've been toying with the idea for a very long time. The notion that you could easily earn money, dogecoins, while doing what we're already doing just makes sense to me. You won't be dependent on luck coughdogecadecough but rather, your own skill. And because of the groups simple nature, there will be no need for extensive planning and whatnot. Virtually everyone, even filthy casuals, will have a chance at earning doge with this idea.

I've already created the Steam Group and have set my mind on seeing it prosper. You can visit it here:

I'm desperately looking for anyone who shares the same ideals and is willing to pour their time and effort into making this a thing. If DuelForDoge is successful, it could become the missing link between the mainstream and the dogecoin community. There's so many gamers out there that would jump at the prospect of making easy money with their skill. We could implement Dogecoin betting in competitive games without the ramifications of actually gambling with real money, and that my friends, would be a huge selling point for all the gamers out there that are either underage or uncomfortable with gambling.
