I'm having the same issue on the mac but can't find any of the files on my hardrive to use the solution you guys suggested. There is no Dogecoin folder in the Application Support folder
... ~/Library/Application Support/DogeCoin/
I had the same problem when upgrading to 1.4, to fix:- Close DogeCoin client- Go to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\DogeCoin- Delete/move/rename blk0001.dat and blkindex.dat - Re-open DogeCoin clientYou will have to re-download the history but that's the only thing that seemed to fix it for me.Of course, your doges will stay in your dogehouse, but copy your wallet.dat just in case!
Tried this fix several times on a pc now and still the same thing happens. My blk0001.dat file gets to 885,060 KB and the blkindex.dat to 404,552 KB. Then it stops updating new blocks and still says out of sync.I've tried restarting the client and shutting off the router with the client open and restarting but still no luck. This thing is wonky.
