This, there are actually over 1 trillion USD in circulation.
As Dogecoin is a currency, you want there to be enough of it on the market that people can actually use it and get an economy going.
Which, coincidentally enough, will in turn make Dogecoin more valuable.

More dogecoins doesent mean you get less money for your investment.
It is all proportional. If there were only 21 million dogecoins total then you also would be mining like 5-10 dogecoins per day. Per same day with 100 billion dogecoins you mining 5-10 thousands per day.  So in reallity it is doesent matter how many of total coins there are and price of each. You just proportionaly mine more coins that cost lower price per each.

Yeah havin enough doge for people to use helps with economy. This is why Doge is the 2nd most transacted coin, only behind bitcoin. Surpasses Litecoin in volume
