I've been trying to set up so I can solo mine or pool mine (latter is preferred), but neither of the configurations seem to work.I've put dogecoin.qt into the appdata/roaming/DogeCoin folder and run it as admin to let the wallet sync. The main issue atm is that my MineWithAMDGPU.bat instantly closes whenever I try to launch it as admin.
Add ";C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\DogeCoin" (or the filepath of your .bat)Click Okay
I had a similar problem when I first tired, and though I'm having different issues now this is what solved the problem you're having for me. Let me know if it works for you.Go to ComputerRight click, select PropertiesClick Advanced System Settings at the top leftClick Environment VariablesScroll to Path and click EditAdd ";C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\DogeCoin" (or the filepath of your .bat)Click Okay
I really dont understand why people are setting stuff up like this. Where did you get the "instructions" to do it like this? Its so bad, and needs to be stopped it makes it so hard to help people.
I guess your command line isn't correct (the line you see when you open your .bat file)I also have AMD, my command line looks like this:cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://doge.pool.webxass.de:3333 -u USERNAME.WORKERNAME -p PASSWORD --thread-concurrency 3200 -I 10 -g 1 -w 256 Is it the same as yours?
You should run everything as administrator anyway. Maybe something went wrong when you copied you files. Are all the necessary files in the appdata/roaming folder? What OS are you using? If everything fails, just try taking it from the top again.Have you created a worker account at a pool yet? You didn't mention this. If you want, I can give you a step by step tutorial on how I got mine to work. I think somewhere along the way you probably missed something.
What is the new error? a blank cmd screen? try adding -t to the end of your command line.
