If the client encryption doesn't work, try getting TrueCrypt and setting up a container for your wallet

Can you describe how I can do it ?

1) In menu File/Back up wallet - save to *.dat
2) Copy *.dat to TrueCrypt container ?

thats all ?

Open settings option in wallet
Chose Encrypt wallet  option
Enter you pass phrase
Hit enter
Press 1 or 2 time ok and restart wallet, or something like that. It works with all other my wallets and with Dogecoin wallet in Win8 , but not in win7
