Dogecoin is not in Appdata.
« on: January 09, 2014, 06:21:45 PM »
I updated and it won't sync, it shows how many blocks are left as if it were syncing, but the number goes up. I followed the directions here, and was gonna do the dogecoin.config thing because the blockchain is off by one number on my wallet. I extracted the update to a new folder and deleted the folder with the old version. I opened it and all my Doge is there, but it's just not syncing. I was supposed to put that .config file in appdata/roaming/dogecoin, but that directory doesn't exist in roaming. I am using Windows Vista at the moment.

The blockchain being off by one number only is hardly a problem, it's probably just a matter of when you last refreshed Check it again, is it still off?

About the directory not being in appdata, I'm quite confused. Your wallet.dat is obviously somewhere (in the correct place, most likely), because you can see the proper amount of doges that you possess. Are you certain that you looked at the right folder? 'Cause there are appdata\Roaming folders for other users as well. It should open the right one if you type %appdata% in the search field in the start menu.
