Dogecoin Pay-Per-Download API?
« on: December 21, 2013, 04:19:27 PM »
I was thinking it may be a good idea for any code shibes to see if they can make an API that sends a person a set amount of DOGE for every download. I mean the person downloading pays a certain amount and that amount goes to the person running the website/blog/etc.

My guess is that it would connect to maybe the online Dogecoin wallet (unless someone can connect it to the installed one, but I don't entirely get how the cryptocurrencies work), take an address to send to and, well, send the DOGEs! Of course there should be verification and probably a warning saying something to the effect of "you are taking a risk of paying for a computer virus" (though that should be common sense).

Still, I'm trying to see if its possible so people can sell games/music/pictures in DOGE without having some big company do it for them.
