reddit it's not better than doges.org, both have a shit trust system, and befor you cry, make pls on reddit a new account and Trade pls one Day long with it, have fun, no one will trade with you and when one PM you he is 99% a Scammer... you only can trade on reddit better because you are a Mod-approved user with high Karma...so is it when you are new on a site and want to trade, so use a Escrow or you will be scammed on Both sites...
If you don;t want to be scammed use escrow. It's really very simple.
There aren't any trusted escrows on the site. "lets use this guy as escrow he has 40 feedback" is the easiest way to get scammed for LARGE amounts of money. The system as it is currently CAN NOT survive unmoderated. Every single doge, every single dollar, every single BTC that gets scammed here is your fault because you completely neglect your responsibility to take care of the marketplace section.Until you start taking this seriously. people are going to keep getting scammed repeatedly.
What are you proposing to do then? Abandoning the site's trading functionality altogether?
You can get scammed on any forum if you're not careful. I've bought coins from Reddit and doges.org and haven't gotten scammed from either site cause I'm careful. It's unfair to the legitimate traders that your advising ppl not to use this forum completely
You're definitely right about hiring active moderators. That will help a lot with the current fiasco we're having. But who would take the position and how would we figure that out?
As a mod, of the more active ones, I find it a big problem that I cannot ban people for scamming.
