Middlecoin and other multipools
« on: December 16, 2013, 01:38:14 PM »
Would it be possible to make the network refuse to communicate with the IP addresses of multipools like Middlecoin?  All they do is force the difficulty rate up through the roof, take all the profit, dump millions of coins so force the price down, and make it worthless for anyone else to mine.  Then when they've made the difficulty so high that it's not worth mining they go off and do it to another alt-coin, then come back and do it again as soon as it falls.

At least with Multipool they pay people in the coins they mine, so they don't all get sold at once and crash the market, and they're not mining these coins - yet.

Also, would this be fair?  Opinions?
