Mercurial CR7 Soccer Cleats

The Championship clubs hold more obvious claims in the evening's other two ties with Sheffield Wednesday travelling to Stoke who will be missing the influential Ryan Shawcross through suspension after his red card at the weekend.

Cheap Nike Magista Obra Wednesday are enjoying a decent campaign and lie just outside the play-offs on goal difference alone but their away form has been a little patchy and I'm not sure it is worth reading too much into their 1-0 win at Newcastle or their 3-0 demolition of a relatively strong Arsenal side.

Tiempo Legend V Cleats In contrast, there will be no quarter given at the Britannia Stadium and that last result will certainly help Mark Hughes in reminding his players not to underestimate the Owls. Stoke are certainly up for the competition having seen off Chelsea last time and they have since beaten the Blues and Southampton in the League prior to their weekend reverse.

Saturday is not the only time that they have flopped and their performance came in for a fair bit of criticism. Their season could change very quickly with both Manchester sides to play in the next four games, along with a trip to West Ham and I expect to see a reaction to the limp display at the Stadium of Light.

The Potters are still a work in progress so can be forgiven the occasional blip but they should prove too strong for the Championship outfit if producing a high energy performance and they are a fair price to win the game in 90 minutes.

Mercurial Superfly CR7 The night's remaining tie offers an intriguing match-up with the Championship side having home advantage and Middlesbrough have conceded just two goals at the Riverside all season, but their defence will be put to the test by an Everton side that have scored 14 goals in four games.

The hosts have already knocked out Manchester United and the last campaign saw them beat Manchester City and draw 2-2 with Liverpool (aet) so they should not be intimidated by the visit of in-form but flawed Everton.

Cheap Adidas X Soccer Cleats Boro's own form did suffer a bit of a blip but they appear to be back on track having won their last two and Everton look set to be without their midfield duo James McCarthy and Gareth Barry which can only weaken their side.

The Toffees have yet to impress in this competition, needing extra time to see off Barnsley and Norwich and overcoming Reading 2-1, and Middlesbrough are undoubtedly a stronger side than the other two Football League outfits while they ended the last campaign with just a point less than Norwich.

Mercurial CR7 Soccer Cleats There is always the chance that the further a Premier League side progresses in this competition, the more they will focus as Wembley begins to loom and in Romelu Lukaku, Everton certainly have a striker to strike fear into the hearts of the opposition. He has five in four games and must be considered at a top price 2/1 in the 'anytime' betting but Middlesbrough and their manager are tactically adept and could stifle the visitors.

Although it's tempting to take a chance with Boro in the draw no bet market, a better option may be to back the draw at half-time (the draw/Everton result can be backed at 11/2 by the way). It could clearly go badly wrong with Everton likely to attack from the off but changes to their starting XI and their hosts likely to set out to contain may see a slower than expected start to the contest and I fancy a more than competent Middlesbrough to be able to match their top-flight opponents in the first half.
