Dogerunning - Running the London Marathon for Charity
« on: October 07, 2014, 05:34:34 AM »

As the dogecoin community is utterly brilliant, I have been inspired by the creators and generosity behind, amongst other charity events, to set up my own fundraising effort.

I will be running the 2015 London Marathon for a local children's hospital charity foundation, seeking to raise funds to support research into cystic fibrosis.

I have set up a page at, and have a goal of raising 20,000,000 dogecoin (at current estimate, $6418.28 AUD, which will cover the rest of my total goal of $10000).

I have contributed the first 50,000 dogecoin myself to start it off. The official wallet address is DSUUHb4S5fhMpENUzuTL3vy7ym52hsWq8v.

Although I am relatively new to the community, I have been impressed by the dedication, support and caring shown by all shibes.

If anyone has any questions, or advice (which is much welcomed) please head over to /r/dogerunning, or contact @dogerunning on twitter.

Thankyou all for your time and support in advance!
