BAMT sounds good if you just want a dumb machine with no HDD.https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=2924.0Linux MINT would be the best if you want a full PC install with good support on the forums and dont know much about linux, dont care and just want it to work.Do some research and pick which one suits your needs/desires best. Stay away from Ubuntu however, MINT is essentially the same thing with a better community. You can follow any guide for Ubuntu on MINT and there are plenty of guides to setting up Litecoin on there. Just Mentally change the word litecoin to dogecoin and everything should just work
Does anyone know how to mine on ubuntu?
Well I officially give up....you've got to locate the drivers, try and work out how to extract them...
Well I officially give up.Must have spent about 12 hours now trying to make it work. Not a COMPLETE linux noob, but that bastard system really doesn't like making things easy. At all.I mean they're trying to be a serious contender in the OS world but if you want to do ANYTHING you've got to locate the drivers, try and work out how to extract them, google the various and numerous error codes that spew out, and go through thousands of lines of code just to install a goddamed driver.Ridiculous.
